We were excited to have Max the Pyrenees come read to the kids at Lincoln Academy. This new book, MaxNificent! The Polka Dot Pyrenees, is a heartwarming lesson of self esteem and acceptance for children young and old, while shining a positive light on the many real characters just waiting to be found in shelters or adoptions through local rescue groups. To learn more about this book, visit the MaxNificent website!

We are so thankful to have so many tutors supporting our Lincoln Academy students! We have a tutor for every student! Every day from 11:30–12:00, one grade level goes to tutoring. There the students work and spend time with the same tutor each week. Thank you for making a difference in the lives of these children!
Each morning at Lincoln Academy our day begins by preparing our hearts and minds for school. Two students begin our mornings by flying the American flag. During our morning announcement, we say the Pledge of Allegiance, have a morning prayer, read a bible verse, and review our behavior expectations. Be Respectful. Be Responsible. Be Resourceful. Each week we also have a vocabulary word. This week our word was “resourceful.” What a great way to begin the day!
